About Hoachampa Coffee & Tea

The quiet hum of conversation and the soft clinking of cups set a relaxed tone at Hoachampa Coffee & Tea, where the ambiance strikes a balance between casual and thoughtfully curated. The space is modest yet inviting, with natural light filtering through wide windows, giving it a gentle warmth. Patrons drawn by the reputation built through various reviews notice the care embedded in details beyond just the coffee. While the menu might not boast extensive variety, the selections presented tend to focus on quality and authentic flavors, particularly in their traditional Vietnamese brews and freshly brewed teas.

Photographs found online often highlight artfully prepared beverages—each cup accompanied by subtle garnishes that reflect a meticulous approach to presentation. The drinks themselves offer interesting contrasts between richness and delicacy; for example, the egg coffee exhibits a creamy froth layered above strong espresso, a balance that feels both indulgent and approachable. Although sandwiches and light snacks are available, they sometimes feel secondary to the drinks, appealing primarily to those looking for a brief stop rather than a full meal. The atmosphere encourages lingering with a book or casual conversation, supported by a staff that tends to strike a polite yet restrained demeanor, their attentiveness evident though not overly intrusive.

Exploring user-generated content and Hoachampa Coffee & Tea + reviews reveals a consistent appreciation for the quiet refuge it offers amidst the bustling environment of Hoi An. However, occasional mentions of the space filling up during peak hours indicate planning might be necessary for visitors seeking a more solitary experience. The overall value aligns with what one might expect in a specialty coffee shop within a tourist-frequented area—prices slightly above local average but mostly justified by the care in ingredient sourcing and brewing techniques. Ultimately, the establishment earns its reputation as a dependable option for those wishing to savor distinctive coffee preparations and experience a moment of calm away from the busy streets.

Hoachampa was recommended to me by a waitress at another great restaurant. I’m glad I listened because the vibes and the coffee here was my favorite so far. I also bought some of the whole bean collection they had and I’m so excited to recreate the coffee I’ve had here. Highly recommend if you want to sit down, relax and people watch on a nice sunny day.

Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a cafe The turnaround time is above average and the drinks are superb. I had the milk tea, and it was absolutely divine. The cafe smells of coffee and tea blends, adding to the rich atmosphere. The cafe also sells their own packaged coffee and tea as well as brewing accessories. The interior is air conditioned and has great airflow, as well as subtle music. The tables are a decent size, and the chairs are comfy. The prices are great, also!

Coconut coffee was good however the coconut base was too runny and too sweet for me. Within this price - 55k - you can get better coconut coffee in town. I appreciate the opening hours till evening and the shop with wide selection of vietnamese tea and coffee. They offer as well to grind their coffee on spot.

I was on a tour and the guide stopped here. It was a solid stop for their coconut coffee and it was delicious. A great spot to post up on the patio and enjoy their drink. I’d definitely come back here again in the future.

Delicious coffee on the edge of the old town, with seating either inside or outside with opportunities for sidewalk-people watching. Enjoyed the coconut coffee and the salt coffee alot. There is also oat milk available. A large range of beans and teas and such are for sale too in case you miss the flavour when you get home!

Great coffee! We tried the coconut coffee and the salt coffee iced. Both were great and also grabbed some milk tea leave to go! Big selection and the service is excellent!

Stopped by this little shop as part of our Coffee Tour around Hoi An Old Town and was met with great coffee in such a relaxing environment. We tried the Coconut Coffee (my favorite), iced chocolate, and Salted Coffee/Ca Phe Moi and all were incredibly refreshing. They also sell beans, tea leaves, and various phin/coffee makers in the shop. A must when in Hoi An

Great location to sit down for a drink and relax in the old town area. Cool enough to sit inside the cafe during the summer months. A large selection of coffee to choose from. Their tea selection is also quite large and everything is sourced in Vietnam. Staff are attentive and helpful and worth dropping by if you’re in the area.
